Moon on the River

Autor Cr Wilson
en Limba Engleză Paperback
"Moon on the River" takes place on the frontier of western Pennsylvania in the 1750's, just prior to the French and Indian War. It is a story of a Christian family from a small farm in eastern Pennsylvania and their lives in this beautiful wilderness that is often brutal. Different peoples, cultures, political and religious views are present, all overshadowed by clouds of war. Two of the great powers of the time, the English and the French, want the riches of the land with little or no regard for the native people. It is a test of faith for a young brother and sister who, through unforeseen circumstances, are separated for the first time. During their separation they find love in completely different worlds. The brother, Jay is taking to an Indian village where he is befriended and meets a beautiful Indian girl. Though his mother and father were killed by Indians, he finds that as in the white man's world, everybody is not alike. Charity, his sister has been rescued by a young French officer and taken to Canada. Completely removed from all she knew, she finds her love. Will their faith stand the test? Will they survive the dangers of man and the untamed land? Will they ever find each other? Can these two young people find true love and happiness in these lands and circumstances? Follow their story and share their experiences as their lives take unexpected turns in the harshness of frontier life. Moon on the River is available in paperback from Amazon. It is by the writer of "the Strange Husband." Other stories "the Days of Rains (the Legend of Johnny Rains), "The Many Trails of Garrett Marshall" are also available in Paperback from Amazon and ebooks from Amazon Kindle.
