At a family reunion, New York photographer Maggie Holloway reunites with Nuala Moore, a woman briefly married to her father long ago. After planning a trip to Newport, Maggie is stunned to discover that Nuala has been murdered. As Maggie visits with Nuala's friends, she is bewildered by a rash of mysterious deaths. What she doesn't realize is that she is meant to be the ultimate victim.
