Notă biografică

Chandana Chakrabarti is former Professor of Religious Studies, Dean of International Programs and Director of the Center for Spirituality, Ethics and Global Awareness at Davis & Elkins College (WV). She received her Ph.D. in religious studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo and did post-doctoral work in philosophical psychology and comparative philosophy at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton and University of Notre Dame. She has received numerous awards, including Fulbright awards and a National Humanities award. She is a specialist in comparative philosophy and comparative religion. Sandra Jane Fairbanks is Professor of Philosophy at Barry University. She received her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota and her J.D. from The University of Maine School of Law. Her areas of research are ethical theory, environmental ethics, political theory and philosophy of law.
