Die Enzyklop die des Sports befasst sich in dieser Ausgabe mit den Weltmeisterschaften im Motorsport in der Formel 1. Seit 1950 wird der weltbeste Fahrer gesucht der pro Saison eine Vielzahl von Rennl ufen absolvieren muss. Ab 1958 wird auch das erfolgreichste Konstrukteursteam ausgezeichnet. In den vergangenen 26 Jahren fanden in 32 L ndern Rennen statt. F r dieses Buch wurden alle Automobilstrecken mit den jeweiligen Rennen in einem Werk zusammengetragen. Aufgef hrt sind die kompletten Statistiken der einzelnen Sieger seit dem Beginn 1950 in Silverstone/Gro britannien.

Eine besondere Ber cksichtigung fand der deutschsprachige Raum. Es werden alle Rennfahrer dokumentiert, die f r die einzelnen Rennen gemeldet hatten und die aus Deutschland, sterreich, Liechtenstein und der Schweiz stammen.

Als Zugabe sind in jedem Buch Videocodes abgedruckt, die auf Renn-Highlights verweisen und somit ein lebendiges Zeitzeugnis der Formel-1-Geschichte darstellen. In rund 275 Videos werden Formel-1-Legenden erlebbar, aber auch trgische Momente des Rennsports.
