Dr. Karim Fathi works in Berlin as a researcher, consultant and teacher in the fields of multidisciplinarity, resilience, conflict transformation and agility. He is currently a researcher at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) on the topics of "Transdisciplinary Complexity Management" and "Systemic Change" and advises the Future Circle of the BMBF.

In how far do the guiding concepts of (multi-)resilience, sustainability and development contradict, but also complement each other? Dr. Karim Fathi is active in Berlin as a lecturer and policy advisor with focus on Resilience Studies and Interdisciplinary Communication. He is member of the Future Circle of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and advises authorities, NGOs and companies in the field of multi-resilience.
