Mum, Alzheimer's and Me

The book

This book is based on my actual experience of looking after a loved one, in this case my mother with Alzheimer's/dementia. I hope it will inspire others to keep going when you find the road ahead is getting too hard to climb. If my sense of humour offends anyone, I cannot apologise, it is how it is; you need a sense of humour to get through this.

Without the help of my lovely ever supportive husband Steve, friends (especially Karen) and carers I know I couldn't have got through this without you all and still be in the position of having my mum living in her own home so I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

You may find my story upsetting at times, but I hope it makes you smile as well.
