Murder in Antigua

No one is worried when flight attendant Betty McNair disappears while on a layover in Antigua. Known for her laziness and less-than-exemplary "sleeping" habits, her fellow crewmembers are merely annoyed and decide to fly on to Baltimore without her.

But the next day, Mercury, a member of the flight crew, spies a body floating in Baltimore's Inner Harbor while walking her friend's dog. The corpse is Betty, and Mercury's life is about to get a lot more complicated.

Helped by her best friends, Roxie and Rex, and her psychic mother, Madame Zinski, Mercury soon discovers that Betty was embroiled in a dangerous game of smuggling, money laundering, and blackmail.

Things take an unexpected personal turn, however, when her hunt for the killer leads her to question a winsome pirate named Rick. In spite of her recent skepticism toward romance, sparks fly between the two and Mercury is drawn to a man for the first time since her husband's death.
