Imagine the complications these "newbies" provoke in this really funny but heartwarming thriller. You'll fall in love with the characters as you turn the pages. The police and Lt. Melanie Taylor are none too happy with their amateur assistants. They warn Bunny and Scarsey to leave it to the police or else But, Bunny being Bunny, she can't let it go. She learns to use a computer, and with the help of a retiree from the FBI and Gracie, her psychic dog, she and Scarsey set out to solve the murder. Then there is the matter of the stripper, Sovella St. Clair, who makes a big play for Scarsey. Throw in a mobster who thinks Bunny is a hot item until she ices him down, a kidnapping, a shootout, a rescued victim of human trafficking, plus two lovable children, and you have several evenings of good reading with lots of twists and turns. It's all a little improbable, but anyone who has experienced the tenacity and wisdom of eighty-year-olds will appreciate the story. So sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy it
