It is very often, the mutual funds managers claim that they have or have the ability to form efficient portfolio than portfolio of capital market. Managers claim this on the basis of their vigilant investment expertise because of having better knowledge regarding the time varying than other individual investors. This is not proved by any managers. So, it is very much necessary to test this claim of mutual funds managers, of having efficient portfolio than capital market portfolio. This claim has been tested through determining the performance of portfolios and risk inherent in the portfolio formed by mutual funds managers.
