There are probably as many mother-daughter stories as there are mothers and daughters. Here is a poignant accounting of the sometimes loving, but more frequently strained, relationship of my mother and me. Both aspects of that relationship, amusing and sensitive, are included. In writing my memories, an epiphany occurred allowing me to better understand why I felt I lacked my mother's love all these years. It is the hope of this author that others who may have a problem with their relationships will have a similar experience, and be able to find peace.
