The story begins in the Royal Realm as King El Elyon, Queen GodSpirit, and their son, the prince, reflect on the cruel and corrupt effect of death on El Elyon's creation: humankind and planet Zearth.

They decide that now, in the Hebrew year 5774, it is time to do away with Abbadon's evil influence so that humans may be saved, but it will require a loving sacrifice. The prince must be born of a virgin, live as a man, and die at the hands of the very people he seeks to free from death. When he raises himself to the Royal Realm after suffering a mortal death, Abbadon's curse will be broken.

Myra is just a Nazareth, Pennsylvania, high school senior, recently engaged to her beloved Joe, when a zearthquake echoes across Empire America. The strange zearthquake gifts her with a miracle; though still a virgin, Myra is pregnant. She soon discovers that her destiny, and that of her unborn son, Manel, is far more divine than she imagined.
