Lorenzo's life is not the same after the unfortunate work accident that has kept him unemployed for some time now. He spends his days in his house by the sea, lost in thought for hours at a time, searching for the peace and calm that he so desperately needs. But his fragile world is turned upside down when his wife Doris is arrested and accused of murdering her boss, Armando Pedroza. Everything points to her being guilty: from the motive and the opportunity, to the physical evidence and the witnesses. Even Lorenzo's own loyalty is shaken when he discovers that she's been lying to him and hiding information. Nevertheless, a surprising discovery forces Lorenzo to set aside his doubts about Doris' innocence and launch his own investigation of the facts. This propels him into a frantic and dangerous race to discover the truth behind the crime before it is too late and he loses Doris forever.
