She famously baked the Queen's 90th birthday cake.

Born in Luton to British Bangladeshi parents, she now lives in Milton Keynes with her husband, Abdal, and her three children. Her first cookbook,Nadiya's Kitchen,was published in 2016. She has also written a children's cookbook and several women's fiction books.
