Recenzii
Offering accessible analyses of lived experiences at the intersection of contested identities and contested spaces, the authors of these chapters name and wrestle with complexities, uncertainties, and possibilities in ways that invite and challenge all of us to do the same.
Teaching and learning in higher education is often overshadowed by the emphasis given to research in global ranking systems. How refreshing therefore are the narratives of eleven emerging and established leaders in this core area, with personal insights into how they overcame barriers of coloniality, gender and positionality.
This collection of reflective and honest leadership narratives is a valuable contribution to the emerging literature on leadership for learning and teaching. I recommend it to those holding such leadership positions, to those who provide leadership development, as well as to university managements.
