Recenzii
"For anyone considering National Board Certification in Library Media, this book is a must. From the beginning of the process, identifying what "accomplished teaching" means to a schedule to stay on track through the process of submitting multiple written and videotaped entries, to getting ready for the assessment, all the bases are covered. Throughout, the author identifies problems she faced, and then follows with how she solved those problems. Journal entries for the entire period are interspersed with sections on each topic. Tips for success are also given. Each step on the way to the certification is described in enough detail to take the anxiety out of the experience. Since no book about library media would be complete without resources to help find more information, they are here in abundance. Additionally, self-scoring rubrics are included for the candidate to use in judging their own entries before sending them off. Although this title may not be useful to everyone, for someone pursuing National Board Certification, this resource will be invaluable. Recommended."
