In 1878 Solomon Tshekeisho Plaatje was born south of Mafeking. Plaatjie used the nickname of his Grandfather. He was from an average Tswana family. Plaatjie got frustrated with the British and this become clear in his unpublished work "Sekoma - The Black Dreyfus." In this manuscript, he discusses his upset about the British not giving legal rights to their African subjects.P. S. King in London published the book in 1916 and dedicated to Harriette Colenso, doughty woman campaigner daughter of, Bishop Colenso, advocate the British establishment of the rights of the Zulu nation in South Africa. The beginning of segregation and the fight for land in South-Africa.
