Notă biografică
Dr Adina-Elena Segneanu has almost 20 years of experience in bioactive compounds with an emphasis on the extraction, isolation and chemical screening of metabolite profiling from different plant species. Her current research is primarily in the development of innovative phyto-carrier systems with predetermined biological properties. She has a PhD in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) at the University Politehnica Timisoara, Romania and an MSc. in Physics (Physics and technology of advanced materials) at West University of Timisoara. She holds the highest category of researcher granted by Romanian Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization.
Descriere
Romanian ethnomedicinal knowledge extends as far back as the 16th century to the Geto-Dacian priests who used medicinal plants and practiced integrated holistic medicine.
