Neko, The Inventive Wanderer, is a cat boy who grew up in a small town called Julien. Julien is an actual small town in California, known for its Delicious Apple Pie Ala Mode. Shops close early and there isn't a twenty-four-hour shop to be found. These traditions of living off the land and doing things the old fashioned way lend themselves to a variety of tourists and residents. They are as close to being off the grid as one could be in the decade of the 1990's until the new millennium. As for Neko, he has an almost clinical obsession with robots and other technological wonders. That passion began early and only seemed to be exacerbated by events in his life. Like any genius type, Neko will have others who want nothing more than to use him for their own ambitions. Besides people wanting to use his ability for their own ends, Neko will soon learn that his problems are out of this world in the most literal way.
