Notă biografică
Lorenzo Mechi is Senior Lecturer at the University of Padova, where he teaches History of International Relations. His research focuses mainly on the socio-economic aspects of European and international politics, and on the Italian role in the European construction. His most recent book is L'Organizzazione Internazionale del Lavoro e la ricostruzione europea. Le basi sociali dell'integrazione economica (1931-1957). Guia Migani is Lecturer at the Francois Rabelais University, Tours, and received her PhD in History of International Relations from the University of Florence and Sciences Po, Paris. Her current research project focuses on the evolution of EEC development policy between 1973 and 1986. Her most recent publications include "The Road to Cancun: The Life and Death of a North-South Summit" in International Summitry and Global Governance (2014). Francesco Petrini is Senior Lecturer in History of International Relations at the University of Padova. His research focuses on the interaction between the economic and social structure and the international system. His most recent publications include "Demanding Democracy in the Workplace: The European Trade Union Confederation and the Struggle to Regulate Multinationals" in Societal Actors in European Integration 1958-92 (2013).
