Earl Anderson used extraordinary willpower, ingenuity, and teamwork to survive starvation and systematic abuse in the infamous POW Camp Cabanatuan in the Philippines. He and his buddies continued their shared fight for survival when they were transferred by a Japanese "hell-ship" to Yokohama, Japan, where they were forced to work as slave labor in a shipyard.
