A young , decorated veteran and recent recipient of a P.H.D. from Cal Tech is recruited by a high-tech firm in California. He is asked to go to China and work with a subcontractor to bring a revolutionary communications device to market. He finds that there is a nefarious hidden agenda and experiences a life threatening intrigue.
