No One Told Me... We Can Heal Too

Autor Laquita Norris
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 13 iun 2023
Harness the power inside yourself, heal from pain, and unlearn harmful trauma stories. Most of all, learn from a licensed trauma therapist about how to combine therapy with self-work to create a beautiful, healed life. Written by a Black woman for other Black women, No One Told Me... We Can Heal Too is an interactive workbook and therapeutic healing guide. Acting as a salve for the wounds that cage Black women, this book focuses on teaching readers how to unlearn the trauma beliefs that keep them wounded. Broken into three parts and a finale, this workbook will help you: ¿ Understand trauma, teach about the disparity of mental health in Black women, and educate on the subjects of attachment and relationships. ¿ Learn how to heal-and give you the tools with which to do it. ¿ Craft a new narrative that ensures your healing persists after the work is done. ¿ Provide meditations, a call to action, and a space to write letters to your past, present and future self. LaQuita Norris, LCSW's book No One Told Me... We Can Heal Too is the perfect gift for the mother, daughter, friend, sister, cousin, or co-worker who yearns for inner healing and wants to exude confidence.
