Notă biografică

The original and first novel in the series of The Sperling Chronicles, Dreams Thrown Away, netted Dilsa Saunders Bailey a Georgia Writers Association nomination for Georgia Author of the Year Award-First Novel Category in 2010. Her great-grandmother's talent for storytelling intrigued Bailey at a young age, and she began writing as a hobby at age 13. After 20 years of corporate life, she decided it was time to share some of her stories bubbling in her mind about an unusual family and its strong, resilient heroine causing her fans to fall in love with them begging for more. Bailey has appeared as an author on television, in print media, and on a variety of radio stations. Born in South Carolina, where she lived her first 17 years, Bailey moved to New Jersey and then to Pennsylvania before relocating permanently to Georgia. She has resided in Atlanta for more than 20 years where she tries to keep up with her grandkids. In addition to the Sperling Chronicles, the romantic suspense series, Dilsa has written a book called "A Comprehensive Guide to Finding the Right Doctor." Her goal is to help everyone choose the right healthcare provider. Dilsa loves to hear from her fans to listen to what they think, especially since the topic of a woman's tribulations and desire for a loving, respectful man are so timely. The Sperling Chronicles reach back to the 1970's when women were struggling to be seen and to be heard as something more than sexual objects. Kali could raise her hand and say #MeToo, but like most women, she quietly endured. Her passion and trials with the men in her life only strengthened and pushed her forward. I'm sure you will like her.
