Recenzii
[A]n interesting book which is required from professionals. Although it is mainly addressed to professionals who want to use effectively the studied techniques, due to the fact that the technology is still evolving it may provide useful information to some researchers as well who could further develop systems and techniques. [...] will be a source of inspiration for developing new algorithms for data processing and postprocessing in order to extract, for example, material information.

Descriere
Non-destructive technologies have gained popularity in recent years related to the tasks involving characterization and diagnosis of constructions. The application of geomatics in construction engineering arises from the necessity of using real geometry in several phases of the construction and evaluation processes. This book provides an overview and up-to-date synthesis of the previously mentioned techniques to the field of civil engineering and includes topics relating to infrastructure and structures. Literature devoted to theory, basic fundamentals, and applications has been compiled to show the potential of such methods.
