Neil R. Storey is is a social historian specialising in the impact of warfare on British society in the twentieth century and a graduate of the University of East Anglia. He is an award-winning author of 50 books and countless articles, and lectures all over Great Britain and internationally. He has amassed a nationally respected archive of original military and social history photographs. He has also worked as a consultant and appears on TV and radio documentaries and factual programmes such as BBC TV's Who Do You Think You Are? and Classified Britain (Radio 4). He lives in Norwich.
