La Dra. Nancy Elizabeth Bedford nació en Argentina y recibió su formación teológica en Estados Unidos y Alemania. Actualmente es profesora de teología en Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary en Evanston, Illinois. Anteriormente fue profesora de teología sistemática en el Instituto Universitario ISEDET y de teología dogmática en el Seminario Internacional Teológico Bautista, ambos de Buenos Aires. Entre sus libros se encuentran La porfía de la resurrección. Ensayos desde el feminismo teológico latinamericano y Who was Jesus and what does it mean to follow him? Asimismo ha escrito más de 90 artículos y capítulos de libros enfocándose en la rearticulación de doctrinas teológicas clásicas tales como la cristología y la antropología teológica desde la perspectiva de la razón crítica, artística y poética. Pertenece a una congregación menonita.

She is currently Georgia Harkness Professor of Theology at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. Previously, she taught systematic theology at Instituto Universitario ISEDET and dogmatic theology at the International Baptist Theological Seminary, both in Buenos Aires. Among her books are La porfía de la resurrección and Who was Jesus and what does it mean to follow him? She has also written more than 90 essays and book chapters focusing on the rearticulation of classical theological loci -such as christology and theological anthropology- from the perspective of critical, artistic, and poetic reason. She belongs to a Mennonite congregation.
