Octave Landuyt, painter, engraver, sculptor, designer, stage set designer, jewels and tapestry, was given many awards for his plastic oeuvre and for his industrial designs. His works are part of numerous museum collections in Belgium and abroad. Life and death as well as existential fear of mankind are central in his oeuvre.
