Of Temptation

Regardless of where we are at in our spiritual journey - we will face temptations and so it is advisable to learn and get strong on how to deal with temptation. This is especially true if there is sin that you have not been able to overcome. If this is the case it is urgent for you to earnestly read and obey and put into practice what the Holy Spirit teaches you through the teachers He has provided -- regardless of what label that teacher comes from.

It really doesn't matter what label John Owen or any other Christian has. If it brings you closer to Jesus in holiness then the teaching is from God and will help. Please be humble and read John Owen's work in that spirit.
