Of What Price, Heaven?

For Christians, Heaven remains a reality, but a reality often ignored under the pressures of modern, secular society. We would rather worry about the troubles of today, the children, our careers, and a multitude of fears rearing their ugly heads within our lives. Heaven remains distant, assured, and, frankly, confusing. Like life insurance, we shall prepare for it when we age and can accept death on "our" terms. Unfortunately, we possess absolutely no clue as to what awaits us within this world or the next.
