The objective of this evaluation is to assess the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement's (BSEE) effectiveness and efficiency in reviewing and approving oil and gas permits on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS), as well as to follow up on the seven permitting recommendations from our 2010 OCS report.
