Knowing where and when events took place is one of the basic issues with Bible study. Here is a chronology of significant events in biblical and secular history from Adam to the divided Roman Empire. Twenty-eight appendices discuss additional details, including an important reconsideration of the orthodox Egyptian chronology, which demonstrates the accuracy of the biblical record. Other issues discussed are where Noah's ark came to rest, the timing of the Exodus, the pharaoh of the Exodus, where the Red Sea crossing was made, and the location of the Mountain of God where Israel camped for two years after the Exodus.
