This book will focus on a segment of the body of Christ- the ministry of helps and will hopefully, throw light on the fact that the part we have to play as helpers in God's vineyard is very important. The essential message will be that we should not hesitate to assume our roles in supporting members of the body of Christ, leaders and all we come in contact with in our area of calling with our gifts and talents. A calling as we know is a divine invitation to serve. Though levels of responsibility and accountability may vary but we are all called to serve. For instance Aaron was divinely called to help Moses. Although the nature of help may be slightly different today as the people who would fall within this category would be the deacons, church administrators, ushers, hospitality staff, cleaners, creche staff, bus drivers, car park attendants etc.The purpose is still in line with fulfilling God's desires. Also it is my desire that this book will bless you just as the truths and insights in it have enriched my life in my walk in God's service. I hope and pray that as each helper takes their place, they will discard the notion that only serving on the pulpit is the only way to be of use for God. The Ministry of Help is a supernatural calling. It is a calling which carries with it a character and grace that makes that person stand out in what they do and helping comes naturally to them. In people who possess this kind of drive, the desire to help will be most dominant even when they become pastors, operating in the prophetic or operating in any of the five fold ministries. Our God is a God of order and we His children are also required to be orderly. If you take these roles out of the church setting, you would find total chaos in the church. So helpers contribute to the cooperate progress of the work of God. They see their role as a fulfilment of their destiny in Christ. Such roles in the church are so valuable and as such should not be seen to be a demeaning role working in any of the serving categories. As they are very vital, helpers must see themselves as working for His Majesty; and take pride in whatever they are called to do. On His Majesty's service also highlights that helpers should never think they have a less prestigious job .It is with this in mind that I have written the book. They must endeavour to be the best they can because in the kingdom of God there is quality control. Apostle Paul was very diligent in service and he always encouraged excellence in service and the use of our gifts in building up the church. Serving not be done things haphazardly because we are doing it in church. In fact cutting edge service should be displayed in church because it is for The King of Kings. Helpers have come to the point where their passion for our Lord Jesus would drive them to do anything that would propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They are so grateful for what He has delivered them from and would do anything no matter how humbling or even dangerous. To such people, promotion by man in this earthly kingdom is of little significance to them as heaven is their focus and making God and others around happy is their delight and satisfaction. I have heard people say that "Giant oaks do grow from little acorns; but first you must have an acorn planted by God" No matter how unglamorous or small your calling is, do not be in competition or in envy against anyone, stay in your calling. The little girl in the household of Naaman may have been a maid, but she fulfilled her purpose and her work was recorded in the Bible. Do not let anyone undermine you or destroy your resolve and determination to be a helper for God. Your service may be local, national or international .Stay focused on who you are representing- His Majesty The King of Kings."
