It has been said that the true artist lives in the metaphysical. It has also been said that the mathematician has a reality that transcends the human mind. Mr. Goldstein, being both poet and mathematician, has produced a work that clearly embodies these two concepts. With amusement, he sometimes refers to it as an orthology of blemishes. But those who understand it will approach knowing what he knows and perhaps arrive a little closer to the unknown places that exist within us.
