'like a really entertaining pub conversation' -- Evening Herald Evening Herald 'entertaining romp through Shay's own highly entertaining career' -- Joe Duffy - Ireland on Sunday Ireland on Sunday 'a stirring tale of one of Ireland's true renaissance men' -- Capital magazine 'Shay Healy is a wonderfully warm and engaging storyteller. He details the events of his life with an hilarious and sometimes rueful bemusement. A huge enjoyment ... will have the reader calling for more.' -- Gabriel Byrne 'A witty, self-effacing compendium of Healy highlights and lowlights' -- The Irish Times The Irish Times 'An unputdownable account of a life well lived. I only met Shay once, and was highly impressed with his genuineness and humility. 'On The Road' pays unique homage to both of those qualities.
