Lynn, a young hospital nurse, finds her life intertwining with her neighbor Dot, an eighty year old woman fighting to keep her independence, and Makala an eccentric artist living carefree and for his art alone. Through her work with patients and the relationship with her two unlikely friends, Lynn explores her own dreams and search for freedom.
