A small chick is left on a sidewalk, but fortunately, a woman finds her and takes her home. However, her neighborhood rules do not allow her to keep the chick. She contacts a woman with two kind children and a houseful of rescued animals (three dogs, six cats, two small parrots, and a bunny). The mom agrees to add the chick to the menagerie, and Zoe grows up to become the leader of the pack. A chicken with an attitude, Zoe has multiple adventures.
