The immortal words in Longfellows great American classic poem of Paul Reveres ride through American towns on April eighteenth, seventeen seventy six, warning the populace of imminent assault from within and without and this American writer's warning and wakeup call to all Americans, young and old, to be aware of the history, beauty of our country and of our national purpose and the subtle forces that are conspiring to slowly destroy that America, that was preserved, protected and defended by many brave, brilliant, unselfish Americans in the last two hundred and twenty five years.
