Modern Educational Technologies (METs) are endowed with several qualities and mechanisms that made them educationally desirable in improving students' learning and their achievements. Their ability to present lessons in animations and simulations; bringing 'real world' into the classrooms, and demonstrations of multicolored different Biological bodies made audio-visual media to be endued with attractive features. The various strategies METS utilize to advance students' learning and thus their achievements consist of attraction and retention of their attention in learning, creating interest and motivation, engagement, generating creative and critical thinking and the like. Integration of METs in education is not a simple task. There are a number parameters to consider for the effective integration. In this book, attempts were made to address these and other related issues. Thus, this book is designed in a way that clearly shows the good opportunities to be harnessed and major challenges to be tackled while integrating MET (like Plasma TV) in education, and the existing policies in ICT integration in education to be viewed against the findings and suggestions presented in this book.
