Ornamental plants play important roles in society, religion and science. A wealth of species are considered to be ornamental plants, and this makes this group of plants an increasingly important group as model plants for a range of physiological, biochemical, genetic and biotechnological studies. This book presents current research from across the globe in the study of ornamental plant types and their cultivation.
