In 2011 Osama bin Laden, the cold-blooded leader of al Qaeda, was finally tracked down by a U.S. SEAL assault team in a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The head of the snake was killed and sent al Qaeda's terrorist organization into considerable turmoil. In Yemen, the remaining al Qaeda leadership tries to regroup and mounts a campaign of counterstrikes on a number of fronts, creating the Arab Spring discontent throughout the Mideast. CIA covert operator Josh Ranalli is tasked to investigate al Qaeda's efforts to regain the terrorist network's initiative.
