When movie star Dex Marshall and his fellow cast members set out to shoot a historical drama in Colorado, they discover the truth is darker than their script conveys. The old mining town holds an age-old curse and the crew's arrival awakens its power. In order to survive a rapidly spreading zombie epidemic, Dex and his friends are forced to live out their typecast roles off-script and become the heroes they've always portrayed on screen.
