This book covers significant weather events that have occurred across the Ark-La-Tex region of the United States since the early part of the 20th century. All types of Ark-La-Tex weather from snow, sleet, and freezing rain, to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and drought are discussed in the book. The reader of this book should acquire more knowledge about past history of the weather in the Ark-La-Tex. It is hoped that the casual reader will find the discussions of weather events as enjoyable to read as it was for the author to write about them.
