I thought to myself, "Here's a young boy's imagination taking over. Isn't that just 'cute as pie'!"

All of a sudden, I heard him say again, "Tims, there's a deer right there!" Then, Spike finished off with a quick volley from his lever action BB gun...

The buck and I spotted each other about the same time, and I think he knew that I did not have just a BB gun.
