This is Book II of The MacDara Chronicles series. In Book I, we meet Cian MacDara, a young man from 6th Century Ireland who is destined to travel through time to fight the evil demon Moloch. After six years in an abusive foster family, he is rescued, and must continue on his path toward the battle. In Book II, Cian makes final preparations to face Moloch. Victory in the upcoming battle and the safety of those he has come to love will depend upon how sharply Cian allows the truth to shine through the Sword of Light, and how well he has faced down the horrors of his past.
