As the children of Israel walked in freedom from slavery in Egypt to victory over the Giants in Canaan, so this book addresses how to be delivered from the wounded spirit and how to overcome the deficits deriving from the wound. The book has two parts. Part one explains how deficits form from a wounded spirit, and how Nehemiah's prayer in Nehemiah 1:5-11 can provide healing. Part two of the book provides topical studies on how to overcome deficits so we can love each other.
