HOW many times have you heard, "Jesus wants you to be filled with joy " My guess is you haven't heard it very much. Or if you have, you've wondered "Really? Why is life so not about joy?" But it's true. Jesus does want you to have joy. And wondrously, He wants you to be filled with His joy. He says so in John 15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. The New Living Testament translation of the Bible adds even more to Jesus' joy invitation as it translates this: "I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow " This book is about finding such full, even overflowing joy in your life. You'll see what caused Jesus His greatest joy. You'll understand how His disciples came into His joy, and you see how even the persecuted Apostle Paul repeatedly express his life of overflowing joy in Jesus. You'll come to this joy in the study and knowing of God's Holy Bible. My hope you see the Bible as God's joy letter to you as we journey into new steps to discover who God is. Indeed, it is only in our knowing God's persistence to draw you near to Him that you will be filled to overflowing with true joy.
