en Limba Engleză Hardback – 31 iul 2010
This book presents and discusses current data on the topics of overweightness and walking. The most recent evidence concerning the spinal and supraspinal control of human walking is examined as are stride-to-stride variability in patterns of lower extremity muscle activity after stroke. Also discussed in this publication is the effectiveness of school-based policies to reduce childhood obesity; and obesity as a complication of cancer or as a side-effect of a treatment of cancer in children, as well as obesity among community-dwelling older adults and their health-related issues and treatments.
