Recenzii

The vocabulary is very full and up to date... The new layout with the headwords in colour is excellent. The fuller section on effective communication is also excellent. So the new edition [of the Oxford-Hachette French Dictionary] builds very effectively on the good features of the earlier version. I shall certainly recommend it to my students.
Review from previous edition Provides a wonderfully clear snapshot of two cultures
Revolutionary ... Best of all ... are the explanations of French idioms
Better design and increased readability ... the sign-posting is better differentiated from the text, and the eye finds its way more easily through the pages ... excellent cultural information
