Pale Shadows

Autor Dominique Fortier Traducere de Rhonda Mullins
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 20 mar 2024

Bookseller Hit:

Pale Shadows’ prequel, Paper Houses, was championed by Laura Graveline of Brazos Bookstore in Houston, who wrote: "Never have I read a book that so eloquently captures what my own heart cannot put into words. Paper Houses is a spinning coin of vulnerability, showing the fear and desire for human connection one moment and flipping to create boundaries the next. Fortier's vision of Emily Dickinson is luminous and loving and her understanding of the poet's soul shines through each page. This is a fearless exploration of self, isolation, and the painful hope and hunger for love."

Pop Culture Dickinson Phenom:

Dickinson has been enjoying much newfound attention with novels based on her such as Miss Emily by Nuala O'Connor and Emily’s House by Amy Belding Brown, several recents books about her life and poetry, and the Apple TV+ series Dickinson.

Award-Winning Translator:

Mullins has translated many of Coach House’s popular French and Quebecois novels, such as The Laws of the Skies, And the Birds Rained Down, Suzanne, and the prequel to Pale Shadows, Paper Houses.
