Created, written and hand-collaged by an adoptive parent and child over the course of several years, "Paloma" shows readers how to talk with freedom and fluidity about hard issues - identity, loss, race - that are essential to address but often difficult to approach. The book is "a treasure for all children and families, but especially for the adoption community," says April Dinwoodie, Chief Executive of the Donaldson Adoption Institute.
